New Manager Ryan Christensen

Webby with the “‘Heads”

For the past three seasons Webster Garrison has been the manager of the Stockton Ports. He is a beloved local manager who even has his own fan club known as the “Webheads.” I even own his 1980s throwback jersey autographed by him. But after three seasons as manager of the Ports, it was time for Webby to move on. He will now be the hitting coach at Midland.

The new Ports manager is Ryan Christensen a former first-round draft pick of the Oakland Athletics. Christensen played for the A’s the Diamondbacks the Brewers and the Rangers during his big-league career.

Certainly wish Ryan the best as the new manager and we look forward to a great 2014 Stockton Ports season
